Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) Certification is a vital part of the UK Government’s post Brexit strategy for achieving the most frictionless borders possible. It also brings global recognition for excellence and competitive advantage to AEO certified companies. For the maximum benefits to be gained every company in a particular supply-chain needs to either be AEO certified or demonstrably operating to AEO standards. Contrary to some opinions it is actually easier for small to medium sized companies to gain AEO certification than it is for large global companies but all sizes of company can definitely reap the benefits.
